3. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Analytics
We use Artificial Intelligence ("AI") and automated analytical tools to support various operational, safety, and marketing functions within our services. These technologies help us understand player behaviour, improve our platform, meet our legal obligations, and enhance player protection. The key areas where AI is used include:
Marketing & Player Trend Analysis: AI helps us identify gameplay trends, segment audiences, and understand which features, products, or promotions may be most relevant to different groups of players.
Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) and Know‑Your‑Customer (KYC) Support: AI‑based tools may assist in detecting unusual activity patterns or highlighting information that requires further manual review to meet our regulatory obligations.
Safer Gambling Analysis: Behavioural analytics may flag patterns that could indicate risky gambling behaviour so that our Safer Gambling team can assess and intervene where appropriate.
Fraud Prevention: AI models may help identify irregular activity, potential account misuse, or indicators of fraud for further investigation by our fraud specialists.
Virtual Support Agent (Chatbot): We use AI‑enabled virtual assistants to help answer common customer questions and guide players toward the right support resources.
When interacting with this Chatbot:
User communicates with an automated system.
The chatbot will process information users provide during interaction (such as queries or messages), as well as limited operational-related data where necessary to respond effectively.
Conversations are recorded and analyzed for quality assurance, training, service improvement, and regulatory purposes.
The player may request to be transferred to a human customer support agent.
The Virtual Support Agent (Chatbot) may have inherent limitations, in particular:
AI-generated responses (such as those provided by the chatbot) may not always be accurate, complete, or fully up to date
Outputs depend on the information available at the time and the input provided by the user
The chatbot is not intended to provide legal, financial, or personalised advice
AI systems may not fully understand complex or ambiguous queries and may require human intervention
For this reason, users should not rely solely on AI-generated responses for important decisions and are encouraged to seek assistance from our customer support team where necessary.

We may publish players' aliases and/or chat names, along with any winnings and prizes received, in accordance with our legitimate interests. Please note that we will provide you with the opportunity to opt-out before we publish such information.
5. Legal basis of processing
Data Protection laws oblige NetBet to have a legal reason, referred to as a 'lawful basis', to justify the carrying out of a processing activity. NetBet determines the appropriate lawful basis before carrying out any processing activity.
For NetBet's marketing activities, we will rely on your explicit consent which is obtained during our sign-up process.
